The Gallatin Avenue Concerned Citizens Association (GACCA) held a "Visit with Santa and Tree Decorating" event on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Noon at the recently developed community garden at 26 Lincoln Street.

Children visited with Santa; received gifts; created bird-edible ornaments to hang on the tree using slices of apples, oranges, peanut butter/seed coated bread cubes/pine cones; decorated cookies; sang carols; and made candy cane cords fashioned from yarn. Refreshments were served.

treeThere were approximately 20 neighborhood members attending.

This is a small part of the revitalization effort for the Gallatin Avenue neighborhood being coordinated by the Gallatin Avenue Concerned Citizens Association, in conjunction with the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Uniontown.
