Design
The character of a neighborhood is often what makes it special:
- GACCA's Design Committee recently began pursuing the construction of community welcome signs, one to be located on the northern end of Gallatin Avenue at the city limits and one at the southern end where the neighborhood abuts the central business district.
- Long-term plans call for the construction of new streetscapes on several roads in the Gallatin Avenue neighborhood. This work would include burying all utilities, installing new sidewalks, crosswalks, landscaping and lighting (See the attached Elm Street Program Map).
